Hello! Peace be upon you.

Greetings! I am a transportation researcher at the prestigious School of Civil Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia. My passion lies in promoting sustainable transportation, travel behaviour, and road safety. My expertise in these areas has led me to explore novel approaches to promote public transport and active mode as a sustainable mode of transportation. My work aims to revolutionize the transportation industry by integrating sustainable indicators, such as cycling and walking facilities, accessibility to public transport services, and facilities for universal design, into future sustainable urban city planning. My commitment to creating a sustainable future through innovative research and cutting-edge techniques has earned me a reputation as a thought researcher in transportation studies. In my research, I have focused on road safety and have developed innovative Travel Demand Management (TDM) and mobility management techniques to motivate adolescents to use public transport and active mode over cars for their daily commute. In addition to my work in road safety, I have also explored the psychological attributes that influence motorcyclists, cyclists, and pedestrians' behaviours. I have also used advanced statistical modelling techniques to analyze my research data. I have delved into simulation modelling for vulnerable road users such as pedestrians, cyclists, and people with disabilities, utilizing sophisticated software. Currently, I am particularly interested in bicycle safety and working on developing novel techniques to improve it, including using naturalistic study and simulation modelling methods, and I look forward to collaborating with other researchers and industry leaders to create a better, more sustainable and safer future for all.
